Day-Wise Program
Guwahati Arrival – Sightseeing - Day 1
After a warm welcome at the airport, transfer to your Guwahati hotel. In the evening, explore the city at leisure and then enjoy a Dinner Cruise along with a vibrant cultural programme.
Guwahati – Itanagar: 280 kms / 8 hours - Day 2
After an early breakfast, proceed to Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. Overnight stay in Itanagar.
Itanagar - Ziro: 100 kms / 4 hours - Day 3
After breakfast, head to the enchanting Ziro Valley, a region famed for its scenic beauty and the Apatani community with their unique nose plucking tradition. Check in to your hotel and spend the evening exploring the township at leisure. Overnight stay in Ziro.
Ziro - Sightseeing- Tribal Villages (Full Day Operation) - Day 4
After breakfast, head to the Apatani villages in Ziro, where you can photograph unique scenes and create memories that will last a lifetime. Night stay in Ziro.
Ziro – Majuli Island (160 kms / 6 hours) - Day 5
Today, after an early breakfast, head to Majuli Island, known as the largest river island on Earth. Majuli boasts a 500-year-old Vaishnavite legacy, rich Mising tribal culture, and traditional mask-making practices. Overnight stay in Majuli.
Majuli – Sightseeing - Day 6
After breakfast, visit the centuries-old Satras established by the 16th-century saint Sri Shankardeva. Later, explore the Samaguri Satra, where locals wearing traditional masks portray characters from the Mahabharata. Overnight stay in Majuli.
Majuli – Mon In Nagaland (180 kms / 7 hours) - Day 7
After breakfast, proceed to Mon Village, a stronghold of the Konyak Nagas, known for their former headhunting tradition. Night halt in Mon.
Mon – Sightseeing (Full Day Operation) - Day 8
After breakfast, explore the tribal villages of Mon and capture the unique lifestyle, food, and culture of the locals on your camera. Overnight stay in Mon.
Mon - Dibrugarh (137 kms / 4 hours) - Day 9
After breakfast, head to Dibrugarh and check in to a charming Tea Bungalow located in a verdant tea estate. Visit the Tea Tribes to experience their unique culture and hardworking lifestyle. In the evening, witness a captivating dance performance by the Assamese Tea Tribes. Night stay at the bungalow.
Dibrugarh – Dibang Valley Roing and Mayodia Pass in Arunachal (55 kms / 90 mins) - Day 10
Today, start early and drive 55 km (around 90 minutes) to the picturesque Mayodia Pass, located at 7,000 ft amid rolling hills, forests, and stunning landscapes. Return to Roing for a visit to a local village. Overnight stay in Mishmi Huts.
Visit the Khamti Villages – Dibrugarh - Day 11
After breakfast, head to Namsai, the settlement of the Khampti people from 13th-century Thailand. Visit Impong Village to understand their culture and the impressive Buddhist Gompa, the largest in the North-East, before driving back to Dibrugarh.
Dibrugarh Airport Drop - Day 12
Today, after breakfast, depart for Dibrugarh Airport. The tour concludes here.
