Travel Route

Day 1: Arrival at Guwahati Airport

Meet and greet on arrival at guwahati Airport and then transfer to Kaziranga.

Day 2: Elephant and Jeep Safari – Transfer to Itinagar (190 kms/3-4 hours)

Early morning wake-up for the Elephant Safari. After breakfast, enjoy a Jeep Safari. Check out by 10:00 AM and proceed to Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh. Overnight stay in Itanagar.

Day 3: Itanagar– Ziro (110 kms/3 hours)

Begin your journey to Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh, visiting Nyishi villages along the way to witness their distinctive attire and customs. Explore Naharlagun Market and the historic fort in Itanagar. Reach Ziro by evening and check in to your hotel for the night.

Day 4: Ziro – Daporijo (160 kms/3 hours)

Early morning after breakfast, transfer to Daporijo. The route offers ever-changing vistas—mountains, rivers, and thick jungles alive with wildlife. Pass through the Kamla Valley with Nyishi villages and reach the Hill Miris region via a winding mountain road. In Daporijo, discover the Hill Miris, Tagins, and Adi Gallongs tribes. Overnight stay.

Day 5: Daporijo – Kaying (190 kms/4-5 hours)

This morning, head towards Along, passing through Tagin and Adi Galong villages with charming bamboo houses. In Pays Galong, the houses are wider, beautifully finished, and surrounded by terraces sheltered by extended palm roofs. The Adis, skilled in both agriculture and hunting, use ingenious bamboo traps to catch forest animals. The region’s gardens and fields feature chili peppers, tangerines, sugar cane, bananas, rice paddies, pineapples, and tropical forests, creating a lush, diverse landscape. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6: Kaying to Mechuka

Today, after breakfast, drive to Mechuka, famous for its pristine skies, cool climate, friendly locals, and stunning snow-clad mountain vistas. The area is home to historic and religious landmarks, including the ancient Samten Yangchag Monastery and Gurudwara Guru Nanak Taposthan. On arrival, check in to your hotel, relax with a hot soup, and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay.

Day 7: Mechuka

After breakfast, discover Mechuka’s key sights: Siko-Dido Waterfall, Guru Nanak Taposthan Gurudwara, Dorjeeling Village, the 1962 War Point, and several other attractions. Stay overnight in Mechuka.

Day 8: Mechuka to Aalo

This morning, following breakfast, transfer to Aalo. Night stay in Aalo.

Day 9: Dimapur – Guwahati ( 260 Km/ 5-6 Hours)

Early in the morning, depart for Guwahati. En route, visit the ancient ruins of the Kachari Kingdom in Dimapur. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Day 10: Departure (Aalo to Dibrugarh Airport Drop)

End of the journey. Drop-off at Dibrugarh Airport.
